Khandallah Tennis and Squash Club History

The Khandallah Tennis and Squash Club, nestled under the hills of Khandallah boasts a proud heritage dating back to 1899. What began as a small community hub for tennis enthusiasts has grown into a cornerstone of the Khandallah community, evolving with the times while staying true to its roots.

In the 1970s, the introduction of squash facilities marked a pivotal moment in the club’s history, responding to the national surge in interest for the sport and welcoming a new generation of members. Since then, the club has thrived as a home for both tennis and squash lovers, hosting vibrant social events, competitive tournaments, and building a sense of community and friendshpi that continues to define its spirit.

Today, with an active and diverse membership, top-tier coaching, and strong Interclub performances, the Khandallah Tennis and Squash Club is not just preserving its rich history but paving the way for an exciting future. As we celebrate 125 years, we remain dedicated to nurturing the love of sport while embracing new opportunities and growth. Join us in shaping the next chapter of this remarkable legacy!

Great place to play and train in tennis. The membership is inexpensive and they have great trainers. Friday evenings they organise community tennis for school children for $5 per child. That is amazing.
