Squash Innerclub– Autumn 2022

Our Autumn edition of Squash Innerclub starts on Thursday the 17th February to 31st March.

This is a social squash event that runs for 7 weeks on Thursday nights. You enter as an individual player, but we arrange everyone into teams – and each week you get to play someone of a similar level from another team. All games are held at the Khandallah courts, as this is an in-house competition.

This is a fun event, and is a great way to meet other players and get some regular games. We also open this up to non-members too, so if you have friends who would like to give squash a go for a few weeks then encourage them to enter too.

Entry fee is $10 for members and $30 for non-members.  Please enter using the Survey Monkey link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PWH35KR

Each week there’s a light supper and quiz. The final will be on Thursday 31st March.

If you have any questions about Innerclub please email Jason at: alyhan@hotmail.co.nz Entries close on Thursday 3rd February

COVID Protection Framework

KTSC will operate as a fully vaccinated venue from 11.59pm on Thursday 2 December onwards.

  1. All members must be fully vaccinated, or exempt from vaccination under the Government rules, to access any of the club facilities or be on site. Visitors are also required to show their My Vaccine Pass on arrival.
  1. Vaccination passports must be provided for verification, preferably either in person to the Club Manager or by email to ktscnz@outlook.com.  They will need to be updated once expired.
  1. KTSC is working closely with both Thump and Evolve.  The Club door will be open from 9.30 to 6pm during the week and 9.30 to 4pm during the weekends.   Between these times, we expect there will be someone available to assist if necessary.    Between these hours, and when the Club Manager is not available, anyone wishing to access the facilities from Friday onwards, who has not already verified their passport, will be required to show evidence of their vaccination to staff of either Thump or Evolve and allow the details to be recorded so they can be added to the Hello Club records.
  2. Where members passes have not been verified and there is no one available to provide access,  access will be denied until the verification has been processed.
  1. Members who have had their passes verified may wish to bring a visitor or facilitate access for a member who has not verified their passport.  If they do, the member providing access has a strict responsibility to sight that person’s vaccine passport and forward those details to the Club Manager.  We cannot stress enough the importance of this occurring.  We will rely on the honesty and integrity of all members to comply with this rule. Any breaches that we become aware of will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
  1. Our aim is to keep everyone safe and allow KTSC to operate as normally as possible.  We can only do this with your full support and cooperation.

World Squash Day Saturday Oct 9, 2021

Our Club is supporting World Squash day this Saturday.  This year Squash NZ, Districts and clubs are fundraising for the New Zealand Mental Health Foundation.

We have organised a 12-hour marathon (8am – 8pm) for Court 4.  We have also booked court 3 for overflow fun.  We have organised an itinerary for the day on court 4 but would love for as many Members as possible to come and participate during the day.

Any help on the day would be appreciated.  And once we finish at 8pm we can relax in the club rooms and chat with our fellow members.

Remember if you want to make a donation to the New Zealand Mental Health Foundation here is the link: https://events.mentalhealth.org.nz/fundraisers/khandallahtennissquashclub?ref=ch_3Jh9ZwKQCt56Bd4D1fOOzFI1
